Something happened!
The dude who committed two (what are essentially) honour killings blew his own brains out.
Unfortunately, he wasn't the murderer of the original victim, so it solves nothing and means nothing and just causes more hurt and more meaningless chaos in the characters' lives.
And I never saw either of the killings that were discussed, since I gave up on season one, so I'm assuming that the original victim's father wasn't directly involved in them.
