Yeah, I had to unfollow him on twitter ages ago. Just wasn't making any sense.
And you're right that there should be more scarring than they depict; so far, they've only showed a hole for the bullet wound itself.
Admittedly, a rifle round at that range would most likely be a through and through ... but they probably would still have had to crack her chest to fix things up.
