Personally, my strategy in roto is to at least have 1, so you've got a base of stats to jump from during the year.

I also find that auction values for closers seem to be dictated more by this mythical idea of "job security" than by anything relative to their ratios or Ks. So I focus on the non-secure, good armed guys.
