If it's like every other GP, there should be side events galore.

I went to one back in 2005 when it was really stupid old old Extended. I didn't have a deck for it so my roommate and our buddies played in the main event (two of them cashed, actually) and I just drafted all weekend, Betrayers of Kamigawa had just come out. I didn't do all that awesome but I had a pretty good time.
