Help please. Friend got a random email. What sort of company/position do you think this is (legitimacy seems questionable to me)?

HI there,
[Company Name] Corporation is hiring at this moment for a part time job of Shipping Assistant in US.
It's nationwide home-based part-time job without any payments upfront. You don't have to relocate!
Your main position duties will be processing ingoing mail, fill, scan and print extra documentation.
If you are concerned in this position and want to be a well paid worker, please feel free to reply via email.
Thanks,

My thoughts: I get a red flag from "without any payments upfront. You don't have to relocate!"
My friend thinks this company got their email from an employment agency. Is this multi-level marketing? Some job that isn't straightforward salary or wage? Commission only maybe?
What do you think?

They ask you to receive payments from potential customers, withhold your payment, and Western Union the balance to them....

If there's nothing when you Google the company name, it's a scam. If there's something when you Google it, knowing what it is would help us answer. -- nm
