Note: It's not the article itself, but rather the "idea" being discussed.

I read it a couple of days ago, and I still can't fathom the callousness and just...evilness of it. If this is what being an "advanced society" leads us to...then fuck it, nuke us from orbit and let's start over. (and yes, I realize the irony in this statement...)
