I know it's 'common knowledge' that the Republicans are the rich guys, but the data doesn't really support it.

Or if you want to narrow it down to what either party's *actions* accomplish when it comes to helping out the little guy or the CEO, it's not clear cut either. Check out Detroit... they've had a Democrat as mayor since 1962. How's that going?

This is not to defend your mom's 'good guys vs. bad guys' emails. Just to say it's not any more sensible to assume the same, just in the reverse direction.
