IF he is any good at baseball, you need to make sure they go to a good baseball high school.

one where the coach does a little legwork for the kids.
I still, to this day, have no idea how I was not drafted.
5'11, 3B, lead the high school team in every offensive category, ran a 4-4 40, benched 350, could get up to 90 MPH on a fastball Senior year.
Our coach was lazy, and did ZERO work for the kids to contact scouts or newspapers.
