I don't think Harrelson is a movie sidekick, and I'm reluctant to call Danson a tv star.

He was a tv star during Cheers, and when he made Becker. And even when he had the single-season series in between. But since Becker he has had a half-season show where I think he was the lead, a show where he is at best the second star and probably third or fourth, a show where he is at best third behind Shwartzman and Galifinakis, and just joined a show where the show is the star.

Woody may not get the top billing in his recent movies, but he's right behind the person that does. And the ads/trailers use him to try and sell tickets.
