Is there more to The Cabin in the Woods then what the trailer hints about? (trailer spoilers)

We see the bird hit the invisible force field fence. The gas station attendant calls someone to let them know the teens are going to the cabin. It's obviously hinting at some sort of governmental torture/psychological experiment zone that the kids have entered.

Is there more to it then that? I'm hoping so.
