I enjoyed it but that's two things Depp's involved in that have source material that bare no relation to the updated movie. I don't like that. Let's remake Romeo and Juliet into a slapstick comedy why don't we?

A sly little monologue at the beginning doesn't excuse that. I mean, I know it's 21 Jump St and what they did turned out well but I don't like the "loosely based on" concept.

That being whined about...21 Jump St was a fun movie. I liked how they switched stereotypes when they got to the school. And the two leads were really good.
