I mean the budget is supposed to be $250 plus another $100 or so in marketing/prints. The movie has made $269M worldwide so far, and say it ends with $275. With TV revenue, DVDs, etc, I think they come out pretty even. It's definitely not a hit, and nowhere near the breakout that they hoped it would be, but I don't think this classifies it as the bomb of the decade. Hello Mars needs Moms.
I know someone linked an article where the author talked about the best and worst cases, and that at worst they lose something like $53M and at best they make $50M. I think it may be a wash.
