Another thought on The Cabin In The Woods (spoilers)

It's very similar to the Hunger Games:

- The young are forced into a ritual where all but one of them (possibly) dies for the greater good.

- A control room monitors and influences the ritual with technology (or SCIENCE!).

- The ritual come down one female and one male where the female has the choice to kill the male, but doesn't.

- Those in charge of the control die because of the outcome of the ritual.

- There's talk of the ritual players' "choices" by those in the control room as they're influencing the behavior of those in the ritual.
