I didn't see the pitch, but it couldn't have been as bad as the pitches that the 3 pitches that rung up Cody Ross.

To be fair, I'm not convinced umpiring is really worse, or we've just got better at tracking ump performance.

I mean we all remember Eric Gregg, and how the Braves Big3 got 6" off the plate from basically every ump.
