Nobody on this board, not even people he has hung out with or kissed, likes Max more than me. There was a moment several years ago that nobody remembers, not even him (I would expect) that bothered me a great deal.
I had been on one of my sabbaticals from TT and when I returned, I failed to do a good job in re-introducing myself to some of the newer people. You have to realize how long ago that was since Max has been here forever. I made a joke casting about a movie and Max who he could be. I replied that since I didn't really know him, he could be Butler #1 or the like. I could tell that bothered him as I should have known him.
Immediately afterward, I started watching his posts and I noticed a kind, caring and genuinely hysterical man. It speaks poorly of me that I had not noticed this before. Over the years, I have let Max into my life some, which is something I rarely do since I am so absurdly private. I was actually texting him a few minutes before this happened. I have no idea why that set him off and if he wants to talk about it with me, I would be glad to do so.
That's neither here nor there about the fact that we are ONCE AGAIN seeing you and Spawn lash out at the same person. This is the stolen loaf of bread scenario, too. If there is some underlying reason why that line was offensive, it must be a doozy because that joke was so random and innocuous. To someone who doesn't spend an inordinate amount of time tracking all the wrongs committed by a single individual, the whole thing is mystifying.
If someone neutral in all of this such as dignan, wiggie or Reagen wants to show up and tell me they disagree, I will absolutely discuss that. I cannot talk reasonably with a couple of my Halo buddies on the point, though, because you are so laser-focused regarding the subject.
Here is the truth about last night. I was upset for Loosi, I was upset for Max, I was upset for amoxy (who was ultimate collateral damage), and I was upset at Spawn and particularly TFox. Now, if you look at these names, it is readily apparent which ones I interact with the most and who I like the best yet I am the type of friend who will not remain silent when people I adore are acting like less than what they are capable of being. TFox is ordinarily one of the funniest people I know yet last night he made two of the worst posts in the history of the board.
Let's ignore of that, however, and focus on what absolutely mystifies me. Why won't you people use the ignore feature?
