Almost 24 hours later and I have pondered this afternoon. My thoughts....

For any bad that happens here there is 100 times the good. Where do you go when your family member is sick, or has passed on? You come here to share with your friends. Why? Because we genuinely care about your grief. We hurt when you hurt. It's therapeutic to you, and we know when it's our turn you will be there for us.

Where do you go when you have a new family member, get a promotion, get a new sig other, or any other good news you are busting to tell people about? You come here... Why? Not because you want to gloat, or say look at me!!! You do it because you want to share your joy, success, new love, with your friends. To let them know that you appreciate them enough to let them share in something that gives you pleasure. It makes something that is wonderful even more wonderful. It also let's the others here smile a little, and maybe even brighten a bad day that they had. I love seeing all your wonderful Facebook pictures. I love how you all can make me laugh at stupid shit. This place enhances my life more for the better than it makes me frustrated with the few times we fight and hurt one another.

For every Plaid thread on Slackertalk there are 100 Rainbow threads to more than make up for it. (Disclaimer, Rainbow in this contest is not a gay reference but it can be as I have no problem with that. Also Unicorns can be used as a substitute unless you live in New York)

I really enjoy having you people in my life.

No I haven't been drinking. This is all my real sober thoughts.

Thanks for seeing me through the bad times (heart failure, divorce, sick Dad, lost cat (not dead but really lost, and then found) Divorce, foreclosures, and other life crises.

Thanks for sharing my joys, new loves, freaky dating adventures, (that dating thing could also fall under the bad list too) trips, Vegasganzas, winning fantasy football leagues, humor, all that delicious humor, family stories, etc etc etc.
