In response to "Is there any way to recall an email I sent from gmail? -- nm" by Dano

Okay, so that appears to be no. So a follow up scenario question.

You respond to an email that "Molly" sent to you about a possible job by saying that you are interested and attaching your resume.

After you hit send, you discover that you are in fact a complete idiot who should never be hired for a job and you started the email with "Michelle, ...."

Do you just say screw it and let it go or do you quickly send a follow up email apologizing for the fact that you typed the person's name wrong that you want to give you a job?
