Where ever that shot came from that destroyed the banshee, this much is clear: It came from a friendly shooter ("Betrayal") and it locked onto the banshee (the arced rocket). Unless the betrayal comes from having killed someone else at the same moment the banshee was destroyed.
Simply: You cannot lock onto a friendly vessel. So I posit this: the rocket locked, the rocket fired, THE BANSHEE GOT JACKED... bingo.
