back in his junkie/depressive days, he was way late on delivering a script he had already been paid to write
so while he was pitching the story that he hadn't written yet to the execs over the phone, he had to urinate in a bottle because he couldn't take a bathroom break
naturally, he sets the bottle aside, gets wrapped up in delivering the pitch further, then reaches over and grabs the bottle and takes a big gulp
