made it easier for kids to stay in touch with parents and not go missing in the first place? or easier to track down and find the ones who do??

also, i think the idea of the random "Adam Walsh" abduction has been shown to be the exception, not the rule. with more cases arising out of custody disputes between parents than anything

I don't think custody disputes were even considered 'missing' in those days, also far too many young teens were considered voluntary run aways when in - zeitgeist Apr 19, 11:11
