i was on the environmental law moot court team and our brief had to be postmarked by a certain date. which we just didn't pull it all together by (there were three of us, so it wasn't my fault. i had my section finished).
after unsuccessfully soliciting mail fraud at the school's post office station to have them backdate the envelope (while almost running into the team's advisor en route, carrying our mail copies of the brief the day after it should have gone out), we took it to a Mailbox Etc. who was fine with it
we still got knocked out in the first round of oral arguments though, so it was all for naught. except that left the rest of the weekend in NYC free for me to take my dad to the city for his first ever visit. but then we ate at the awful Jekyll & Hyde restaurant in the Village, so i kind of ruined that part of it too
