"Hey Deevs - if you have a chance - can you give me the name of that restaurant that does the Charity Wine Dinner night? Thanks!"

The resto is called the Ashmont Grill. They do Wine Club every Monday evening. They donate part of the proceeds to area concerns that can use the help, like a neighborhood nursery/child care concern; an old park in the area, playgrounds, etc...anything that helps improve the quality of life for the commuinity.
They do 4 course dinners - using small plates so they can keep costs down. A different style of wine or a specific winery is featured every week and pair w/the plates.
The first time I went there was a pre-dinner cocktail waiting at everyone's spot, so that was nice. The pours are usually 2-3 ounces per glass and you usually end up pretty warm and toasty by the end of the dinner.
(Unfortunately the last time I went the sommelier barely poured at all. He mostly sat in the corner texting, making phone calls and drinking up the wine himself. I don't think I had a full 5 oz. glass of wine that night - not cool. Diva likes to get her grape on.)
Anyhoo - usually it's pretty great.
