Visited her PCP today. He commended her on the regimen she has followed to keep the swelling down and he referred her to an ortho specialist. The doc he recommended was the one she planned on visiting, but I think she was happy to have the validation of her choice. (My wife works in the OR and has worked with the ortho doc so she trusts his ability.)

Hope to know more tomorrow.
