On a purely selfish level, I'm thrilled that this means there's almost certainly money for school boards next year.

This is a best case result as far as I'm concerned for what could have happened. PCs in, my riding goes Liberal, Ted Morton (who is super smart but whom I agree with on almost nothing) out, Link Byfield losing.
