I've got a LaCie external hard drive with multiple connectors. I'd like to share it between two computers. Can I pull this off?

What if one PC is Mac and the other is Windows?
Responses:
No. Plug it into Windows and network share it to the mac -- nm

If you're concerned, use a crossover cable between the two computers, but yeah, you could still share it from PC to PC even on corp -- nm

I'd make sure neither uses a FalCie hard drive. -- nm

Don't do it. Final Fantasy XIII tells us that the L'Cie will destroy the planet if we let them. -- nm

not unless you have a utility that will allow the mac to write to it.

That's not a problem. The disc is partitioned into the the two file systems, and the Mac has a utility to write to NTFS anyway. -- nm
