he said that, while other tires may fit, since the car is made with that particular rating in the mix, there could be a difference in how things present. example: speedometer may say the car is going a certain speed, but it might really be going a different one. (I have no idea.)
he first tried to get me to go for a more expensive bridgestone that's in stock; but then, when I said I needed to do more research, he suddenly found a set of bridgestone's that are V and cheaper, and also have a rebate, *and* they can help save on gas. 60K warranty. and he put them on his wife's car. (that tactic is ancient, but effective. ;p)
there aren't as many reviews out there for them as others, but they seem good overall. I think I'm going to go with them, unless anyone's heard anything bad?
