iphone app/? question

i just want a simple to do list function.

where i can list a series of things to get done, and mark them out when completed.

I dont want to have to tie these things to the calender, and the notepad works but isnt really what i wanted.

suggestions? i searched the app store, but really couldnt find anything, maybe i was using the wrong term (to do, to-do).
