yes and no. I use my phone to stealth-snap all the time. my camera looks like a camera, so I can't be as stealthy. -- nm

But a lot of handheld PDAs aren't phones or cameras. Like an iTouch. Would it be legal to have a silent camera on an iTouch but not on an iPhone? -- nm

my point is more that you can get a lot of cameras that are pretty low-profile and don't look like cameras, so all you manage to do with this law is
