The average moviegoer has a brain that tells them "omg what are my eyes seeing?". Whether that is good or bad remains to be seen.

Past criticisms of higher frame rates have likened it to home video, negatively. Hobbit might reverse that.

I have a feeling it will dowl people over in an Avatar way. If not, they can drop half the frames and show it at 24fps. -- nm
