I find I need to get the right kind. my living room cfl is like a hospital, but my bedroom is actually very nice. -- nm

I'm generally frustrated that the models/tech changes so frequently with the bulbs that by the time you go to replace one you can't buy the same kind

This is part of the problem. Also, I find it very hard to use them to replace bulbs because you wind up getting different light from different bulbs
