This is part of the problem. Also, I find it very hard to use them to replace bulbs because you wind up getting different light from different bulbs

in the room which is . . . weird. Most of the rooms in our house have recessed lighting with many bulbs in a room. Unless you replaced them all at once, it makes the room weird.
