She's got a documented history of hiding things from you. She's frantically trying to contact this person, which almost seems like a waste of time if she doesn't know anything and is lying. In fact, I'm assuming you didn't know your wife was sending messages all over the earth to get in touch with this woman until this woman told you. That doesn't seem like what you'd do if you weren't trying to cram something that actually happened back below the surface. If it's not true, why the effort? And as I was asking on B2, was the Facebook post instantly decried as a lie by other posters in the thread, or did it just sit there in a "holy shit, I can't believe she posted about that on Facebook" kind of way?

I shouldn't be speculating at all because it's your family and I don't know anyone involved personally, but based on what you've posted, I'm getting to the point where I'll be surprised if it isn't true.
