for what it's worth, I have a former co-worker who to this day I don't know if she was having an affair with the boss.

and I would give the "I don't want to get involved" response if someone tried to get me involved in that shit.
also for what it's worth, I have a gut feeling that my getting fired was ultimately traced back to that situation. I can't prove it, but there were bad bad feelings between people, and most of them were rooted in the suspicion (never confirmed) that these two were having an affair. And the thing is, it kinda doesn't matter if they were or weren't. the bad shit happened anyway.
