But I actually was fine in sports despite not being held back. Yes kids had a few months on me, but I pretty much kicked ass in baseball and basketball. Those were the two sports I ended up on, and played varsity for both.

Even in Little League it was never a problem. But in my area they have plenty of leagues to choose from, with different age ranges at each level.
