You started your NFL career as a CB, Ronnie. Since you can't remember, you should probably donate your brain to that concussion group.
The best current safeties (well, unless opinion on that has changed) were taken at 16 and 24. Sure, a safety is worth it that high if you're getting someone the caliber of Polamalu or Reed. But you can't know a guy coming out of college will be a potential HOF candidate.
