The late fees themselves won't - but I think being two payments behind is enough to ding it some.

I would argue the fact that you never received the statements and ask them to remove the late fees and also make sure they do not report it as late.
She's probably also going to have her credit report dinged for them checking her credit when she got the card (unless it was a soft hit), as well as having opened a new account in the last 12 months.
