par cook in the micro wave, coat with a bit of oil, grill, or wrap in alum and place them ON the coals, turn or do what my father loved to do

he'd put a bunch of taters bare skinned on the coals, they'd burn black a quarter inch, we'd each get two, break them open and the inside is creamy delicious.
