In response to "I like grilling, but gas is so much easier than charcoal" by Truman

having ran out of gas, having to guess when it might, I just got a 2nd tank, swap them out and refill (DO NOT use those tank exchange except in emerg

encies...like you ran out of gas. Those tank exchange vendors, you know at the gas station or grocery store) are notorious for short fills, IE: only put 3.5/4 gallons instead of 5...you will note the service charges for exchanging an empty tank for another tank with gas, NO MENTION of any amount of gas.

go to a propane service and have your tank filled and you'll get your money's worth, I mean we're talking 4 or 5 bucks worth of gas, but also the exchange places are more expensive (fee split with the store)

TIP: check freecycle or CL for a free tank, doesn't matter if its an old can they can't use anymore, you get a discount when you exchange it ...yeah that's when you use an exchange service...for a modern tank. but sometimes you score a modern regulation tank for free.
