gravitated towards the window? Is that right?

Is that something that probably happens with all cats, or do you think it was just yours?

A friend just posted on FB that her apartment complex had a fire drill (some kid pulled the alarm) and she spent so much time chasing her cats down trying to put them in the crates that she would have been burned trying to get out of the complex. She's trying to figure out a way to make it easier should it happen again. I'm wondering if "open a window" is all she needs to do, or whether that was just a fluke with your cats.
