Even if they are right, and chenges in the cloud cover will keep global temperatures from rising, that would still have the potential to cause massive and possibly catastrophic shifts in weather patterns directly attributable to climate change, no?

cloud cover reduces the amount of sunlight reaching the surface were plants use it for energy to grow and move water around their leaves.
