I assume you need tv to blu ray and blu ray to cable box per tv setup correct?
is 3 feet typically long enough?
Does the style/type really matter?
All this talk about technology makes me want to upgrade.

I don't knwo :) I'm used to wiring stuff through a VCR and assumed it was the same way...

Ideally, you'd have a receiver (with everything going into that and from there to the tv) with speakers. -- nm

There's really two ways. 1) Run everything to receiver and receiver to TV. 2) If you lack a receiver, run everything to the TV and you change inputs

I tried #1 when I got my new receiver a few months ago. I found that the video switching delays were super annoying.
