IMO, unless you have a HUGE passion for one, do Microeconomics. It'll be cheaper, less frustrating, and less a-holes.

When it comes to your work vs. their work, artists can be such punks/shit talkers, and will rarely give honest kudos (even if your work is good).
It's worse than what writers do to each other.
