Yeah, I don't buy that. If I collect the same information sitting at a hotspot at Starbucks, there is no crime

unless I use that to hack your accounts or something. Just because it's coming out of your own personal hotspot doesn't make it any more your property that your use of an unencrypted connection at Starbucks
