I think life is precious, but we hand it out pretty freely to our enemies and then condemn our friends when

they choose it on their own terms.
Usually, suicide is an act that is born out of loneliness and emotional pain, but sometimes it can be a salvation for people with horrid illnesses, both mental and physical.
The hard part is accepting that there just wasn't anything more that could make the situation better for those rare instances where it is a rational response.
