I'll spare details, but this is what they try when other hard-hitters haven't worked. she has multiple serious issues in a variety of places.
she just called and kaiser quoted almost 1400 for a 2 week supply, so $50 a pill. better, but still crazy. she's going to write to the prescribing doctor (one of the top people in infectious diseases for the area) to see if anything more can be done.
