What you described is NOT Seaside. The opposite. I also see your post below. Astoria has wonderful food, quiet, and you can drive over the bridge

to Ft. Stevens for some eye popping beauty. I even have a restaurant to recommend there (I have to look up the name again. I have them favorited on Facebook).
And, you can see the Goonies House!!
