I haven't had a chance to check the news on this yet.

If he's done it will be a sad day. he is the best closer of all time. For awhile there when he'd come in against the Sox you knew it was over (his numbers against the Sox are a bit more mortal than the rest of the league over the years). He was automatic.

The fact that he did all of this with 1 primary pitch is stunning.

He's always acted and behaved with class. The game will miss him if he's gone.

But I take a different view on the end, if it is the end for him. Better to go out throwing strikes then watch him slowly decline. I think that would be worse.
