Catwoman has always waffled. In the books, a few years ago she and Bruce jammed repeatedly and he considers her an ally. Even in Burton's version she was against Penguin.
As for the whole new Batman idea, I am resisting it with all I have got. I only watched the trailer once and will only watch again when in a theater. For the record, if Bruce *dies* in the movie, I am done. If his spine is broken by Bane like in the book, I may stay around.
