Sometimes it's incinerated and sometimes it's sent to a lab, ground up and mixed with some kind of epoxy to make replacement bones and patches

for people with bone infections or spinal fusions, etc. Kind of like the skin removed from a tummy tuck is harvested as either bandage type thin sheets or a grid for growing new skin for burn victims.
Good luck! Look at it this way, if you don't sleep tonight, you'll go to sleep so easily when you go into surgery tomorrow. I'll say a little prayer for you. :)
