I think it goes teh way of every other "Why dear god?" sequel in the past few years.

POTC4, Shrek 4, Xmen (the wolverine one).....
I don't think anyone is clamoring for another Spidey after how god awful #3 was; much less another origin story. We just did this 10 years ago.
